Open seminar “Season for Digital Humanities”<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Presentation by Poznan-based partners of DARIAH-PL project: AMU, PUT, IBL PAS and PSNC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The goal of \u201cSeason for Digital Humanities\u201d seminar  is to present Dariah.lab<\/a> infrastructure as a result of \u201cDARIAH-PL – Digital Research Infrastructure for the Humanities and Arts<\/a>\u201d project. All Poznan-based partners of the project\u2019s consortium – Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan University of Technology, Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center – will present results of their work.   Since the project also provides resources and tools specifically related to the Wielkopolska region, the presentation will include instances of such resources,  for example a unique digital repository of the Kaliszanin  newspaper<\/a>, acquired from the archives of the Russian censorship at the Library in St Petersburg, archival ethnomusicological  recordings from fieldwork in the region, or digital documentation of the palace in Turew<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The invitation to the seminar is addressed to the entire academic community associated with the humanities in its broadest sense and the development of technologies for the humanities, as well as music librarians, archivists, lyricists, translators, students, learners, enthusiasts of new technologies and digital humanities, the community of the city of Poznan and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar will include a lecture part, as well as demonstrations of Dariah.lab laboratories at the UAM, PUT, IBL PAS and PSNC. All presentations will be delivered in Polish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
